This space continues the legacy of the blog Alucine Cinéfago – Here we will republish film reviews that appeared on that Spanish page between 2015-2020 (now also translated into English, as fhpbooks is a bilingual site). We will also publish new reviews and analysis.
In the sections dedicated to activity books and notebooks, these types of publications created by the author of the page will be promoted.

Who is behind fhpbooks?
Felix Hahlbrock Ponce, born 1985, is a Spanish-German film enthusiast author of some cinema related books.
In his reviews, mainly centered in vintage and cult movies from the 60s, 70s and 80s, he explores Gialli (crime movies or thrillers made in Italy), Japanese Jidai-geki (a.k.a. Samurai films), Spaghetti-Westerns, Mexican „Lucha Libre“ films (like in his book about „El Santo“), or Mafia movies (from Godfather trilogy and Scorsese blockbusters to other less known masterpieces) among other genres and subgenres. His books are available in Spanish, English, and some of them also in Italian!
Now, his passion for engaging and playful creativity also inspired him to publish some activity books; one of them also related to cinema (His „Word Search for Cinephiles“), and others with some Samurai flavour, like his Sudoku and Kakuro books (Samurai films are among his favourites).
He also publishes notebooks, to invite creative professionals and artists (as well as other fellow authors!), to document their dreams, capture their memories, and organize their worlds with style.
